Laurel Corriveau is Chief Experience Officer (CXO) for The Otto Group at Hightower Advisors. Her key areas of focus include ensuring that The Otto Group flawlessly executes its concierge level relationship management for their suite of clients, new client onboarding, advisor transitions, and leading marketing and communication efforts in support of expanding the team’s client base. With 30 years of professional services firm experience, she has a deep background in practice management, business and professional development, client relationship management, marketing, and brand awareness.

As CXO, Laurel guides practice management for The Otto Group, overseeing daily operations along with business plan creation and execution of marketing, growth, fiscal, and organizational plans. She is devoted to client onboarding, the impact and outcome of branding and communications, team organization, and enhancing service models to elevate The Otto Group’s overall client experience. Laurel is also responsible for ensuring that team’s advisors are supported with meaningful resources to guide our clients along a path to financial wellness. The Otto Group’s Roadmap to Financial Wellness and Advanced Planning services offer sophisticated solutions for business owners, individuals, families, and institutional clients.

Prior to joining The Otto Group and Hightower, Laurel served as the business development manager at a regional law firm, where she was responsible for business development coaching, marketing activities, and event planning for attorneys in the firm’s Florida offices. Previously, she was the community relations manager with the Economic Development Corporation of Sarasota County, and historically has held relationship management positions within the legal and financial industries.

A passionate and active leader in her community, Laurel volunteers her time with several local nonprofit organizations. She serves as vice-chair of the communications committee for Sisterhood for Good, an all-volunteer organization of likeminded women dedicated to enhancing the community through philanthropy. Laurel is a volunteer-member of the advisory board of the Child Protection Center (CPC). Working collaboratively with the CPC’s staff and board of directors, the advisory board’s mission is to advocate for children and educate our community by providing a comprehensive approach to the prevention, intervention, and treatment of child abuse. Laurel is also a member of Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation’s Mission Possible Sarasota-Luncheon committee. A personal passion, she strongly believes in making a lifetime commitment in support of cancer prevention and finding a cure.

A former Goodwill Ambassador, Laurel was recognized for her philanthropic efforts as a recipient of the 2017 Bronze Presidential Volunteer Service Award, 2017 Ambassador Above and Beyond Award, and the 2016 Community Ambassador of the Year Award. Throughout her life, Laurel has been committed to volunteerism within the community where she lives and works.

A native of Canterbury, New Hampshire, Laurel earned her Bachelor of Science in Economics and Finance from Southern New Hampshire University.

In her free time, Laurel enjoys spending time with family and friends, traveling, dining, exploring museums, art, and culture. Most often, you will find Laurel enjoying any one of our beautiful Gulf Coast beaches.
